How to Post a Sourcing Request (RFQ)

A Request for Quotation (RFQ) lets you describe what you need and receive competitive quotes from multiple factories at once. It's the fastest way to source from Bangladesh.

1

Go to 'My Requests' in your dashboard

Log in to your Buyer Dashboard and click the 'My Requests' tab. Then click the '+ Post New Request' button in the top right corner. A form will slide open on the page.

2

Describe your product requirements

Fill in the request form: Product Title (e.g. 'Men's Cotton T-Shirts'), Description (specifications, materials, colors, sizes, packing details), Industry category, Required Quantity (e.g. '5,000 pieces'), Price range per unit (Min / Max), and your Deadline date.

3

Submit the request

Click 'Post Request →' to submit. Your first request will go through a quick admin review (usually within a few hours) to maintain marketplace quality. After approval, your request becomes visible to matching factories who can submit quotes.

4

Invite specific factories

Once your request is live, click 'Invite Factories' inside the request detail view. A list of industry-matched factories will appear — you can also search by name, city, or product. Click 'Invite' to notify specific factories. They receive an alert and can submit a quote.

5

Request from a factory page

Alternatively, browse to a factory's profile page (/manufacturer/their-slug) and click 'Request a Quote'. This opens the request form pre-linked to that factory — your request is automatically sent to them when posted.

6

Edit or update your request

If your requirements change while the request is still open, go to 'My Requests', find the request, and click 'Edit'. You can update the title, description, quantity, price range, or deadline. Changes are reflected immediately.
